So yesterday I read an email from a stranger. A High School Senior who is looking to possibly attend Quinnipiac found my blog through Google, and emailed me with a few questions. I gave her props for emailing me, something I don't think I would do even if the option was around when I was applying oh so long ago. Good luck Kate.
Tuesday is Direct TV day. The installer will arrive at some point and bring me so much joy. I'm hoping we'll end up with BBC America. As long as I keep Bravo for my Queer Eye and Lifetime, television for women, for the horrible repeats of Golden Girls, The Nanny and Mad About You. Shows that I never watched during their original run. What can I say I'm weird.
Thanks to Ryno, I talked to Eric today. Finally told him how much it hurt to read in QUDaily (Quinnipiac's Newsletter) that he had a girlfriend. It meant that he was over me. Hopefully this wont be the last we hear of Eric. He's part of the reason I survived my Junior Year at the Q.
Amber got me "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom for Christmas. I've just finished reading it for the third time. Loooooooooooooooooove to the Wifey. This excerpt is the part that gets me every time...
"Lost love is still love Eddie. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around the dance floor. But when those sense weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it. Life has to end. Love doesn't."
Peace...
Current Music: Kelly Clarkson - The Trouble With Love Is
"The trouble with love is it can tear you up inside, make your heart believe a lie, gets stronger then your pride. The trouble with love is it doesn't care how fast you fall and you can't refuse the call. See you've got no say at all."
