I finally finished reading Ordinary People today. Took me long enough. I believe I started reading it in July. Then life happened and read another book in between. I just put in a request at my library for the book: “The Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. The same guy that wrote "Tuseday’s With Morrie”. He also worked upstairs from where Chris used to work. Since I really enjoyed Morrie, and it was recommended by my father’s book club, I figured what the heck. Other books from the club I plan on reading:

The Devil Wears Prada by Laura Weisberger

Middletown, America by Gail Sheehy

Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs

What Should I Do With My Life by Po Bronson

Why Didn’t I Write That? By Marc McCutcheon

That should keep me occupied for a while.

This site has been viewed more than 500 times since August! That’s pretty darn cool. So what if the majority of it is me making sure it’s still there?

That’s all for now. Tomorrow is going to be a task-filled day. Call Doctor for knee appointment. Fix up resume and cover letter, again. Put all loan papers back in appropriate binder (that should take allllllll day). But as David Letterman said on his show tonight, “Don’t decide how you’re day will be until the sun has set.” That was followed by Tom Cavanaugh looking more handsome than I remember.

There was an offer placed on my Grandfather’s house today. Lower than we’d like. Boooooo.

Peace…

Current Music: I’m From New Jersey – John Gorka
“I'm from New Jersey, I don't expect too much. If the world ended today, I would adjust. I know which exit I am and where I'm bound. Those tolls on the parkway will slow you down. New Jersey people, they will surprise you. 'Cause they're not expected to do too much. They will try harder, they may go further, 'cause they never think that they are good enough. I'm from New Jersey. No I don't talk that way. I’m not Italian, Irish is better anyway. I'm from New Jersey.”
