Recently I have been listening to the same Mp3's over and over. They usually change on a day to day basis, but everytime I compile my list from the 1,500 choices it has the same 10 songs:

1) Evan and Jaron - The Distance (from the Serindipity Soundtrack)
2) Keith Urban - Somebody Like You
3) Third Day - Tell Her
4) Billy Joel - Tell Her About It
5) The Ataris - In This Diary
6) Josh Kelley - Amazing
7) Our Lady Peace - I've Loved You All Along
8) Alison Kraus - You Say It Best
9) Sting - You Were Meant For Me
10) Peter Frampton - Baby, I Love Your Way

I know what you're thinking, "Is that Peter-fucking-Frampton?" (points if you know the movie) The answer is yes. It is Mr. Frampton.

There's a theme that I have inadvertantly been playing in my head for a good period of time. The previous post has a lot to do with it too. Here's the rationalization that I have for all the songs:

1) While I'm not a E&J fan as a whole, the version for the Serendipity OST is the most amazing mixing I've ever heard. I haven't been in love with a song for it's production quality since Sheryl Crow's "Everyday Is A Winding Road"

2)This is on the OST to How To Loose A Guy in 10 Days. A movie I watch quite often. I love the internet.

3)While Third Day is known for its "Christian Music" this song isn't blatent and it's beautiful.

4)Billy Joel. There's a hidden meaning behind this song. It goes way back to High School for AMy and I

5)The one line: "The only thing that matters is just following your heart, and eventually you'll finally get it right."

6) I just like it.

7)I think the line from this song will be my epitaph, "And if I don't make it, know that I've loved you all along."

8) Im not telling why this one is on here.

9)I want this to be our song. I don't know who I share it with, but when me becomes we, I hope this is our song, or at least one of them.

10) Listen to it, you will understand.

So while none of this makes any sense to anyone, or me for that matter, I just thought it was weird that all these songs are consistently on the list. Yes I did give reasons to why they are all on my list. But I think they are on there so much is because everytime I make my list I have one person in mind. And in this case this person has been on my mind everytime I make a new list. It's so complicated. Should I say it? Should I tell you how I feel? I want you to know, but then again I don't... It's so confusing, I wish you'd just confess, but think of what i'd be losing if your answer wasn't yes?
