Back from London. Had a blast. Pictures soon to follow. But the real reason I'm here is...
I was listening to the radio today and the woman delivering the news said a word and it felt like nails on a chalk board as she spoke. The word was "Saturday". You're probably wondering how on earth could that sound bad? Well it was pronounced as: Sa-ur-day. She forgot the "t". I'm even willing to accept a "d" as is "Sadurday". Blame it on my 4th grade teacher. We didn't get a star if we didn't enunciate.
Other words that drive me crazy when mispronounced:
ask (aks)
frustrated (fustrated)
romantic (romanic) (BTW pronounced this way, makes it an entirely different word.)
I'm sure as time goes on many more words will be added to this list.
To all the offenders out there. Take stock.
Peace...

"I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned. And I have to speculate that God Himself did make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay. And true it may seem like a stretch but it's thoughts like this that catch my troubled head when you're away and when I am missing you to death."
