In response to Chris...

The car is awesome. I really like it. Mom said, "hey, this is a nice ride." You're damn right it's a nice ride. She was worried it'd ride like a pick-up truck. I think the Forrester rides more like a truck than my Jeep does. I have named the car Iggy after my salesman Igor, who called me today to see how things were with the car. I've had the car for about a week and have gotten 3 phone calls to check up and make sure everything was ok. (Chris: Dad took pics on his camera, ill post them somewhere when I get them)

Today I had the day off. Due to the snow. All .5 inches of it. Yes. 1/2 inch. The forecast was for 4-8 inches, but it warmed up as the snow was falling. So at 5AM, school was cancelled, by the time I got out of bed at 9AM the road were dry. No lie. Whatever I still get paid. I was supposed to chaperone the dance tonight as well, but no school, no dance. WOO HOO!

I went over to Amy's house to have fun on this great day off. She took me to Route 27 in Metchen. We went to the Enteman's Bakery Outlet, or as Chris would call it, Carbo Heaven. They did have a decent line of carb-free products, but what they lacked in carbs they made up for in calories. We also stopped off across the street at the Revlon company store. It's open to the public and dirt cheap. I got 3 nail files for $.99. Mascara, In Drug Fair is $8.00, here it was $2.50. I almost peed myself. Amy says there are more outlet type of places along the same road, so were definitely going back.

I have Monday the 29th off. Is it a holy day? No. Is it a national holiday? Nope. A long time ago a tradition was started at my school that if an athletic team went all the way to states and won, the school got the day off. Well the swim team kicked serious butts this year, so that's why I have the 29th off. I am now a firm believer that everyone should work in a school. Yeah there's more money to be made somewhere else, but who gets the summer off plus various holidays? That would be me, the Private High School Teacher.

I'm off to watch School of Rock and/or Alice In Wonderland. I bought them both today at Target. Smurf yeah!

Peace...
