I'm a grown up.
Today I picked out a car, and a cell phone. This was all before lunch. Tomorrow I go to cell phone store and make that happen after a rendevouz with Amy at the Scotchwood. This is after I spend the morning with insurance people to make sure this car thing happens.
Dad was in the area of the dealer today so he looked at the Jeep Grand Cherokee at the dealer in East Hanover. My salesman, Igor (no joke on the name, he's from the Ukraine), gave Dad all the info and it looks like I may have a new car as of Thursday. While I have never met Igor, I have spoken to him on the phone twice. Today he said, "Deirdre, I not only hope to make you satisfied customer, but friend for life." While this sounds like something a smooth salesman would say, if repeated in a Ukrainian accent, all you can do is laugh. In honor of my new friend for life, I may dub the new car Igor. Any other suggestions?
Side note: I just got off the phone with Michele. Gotta love drunk calls from my girl in random places like Hoboken. So while I did miss ADW rockin out, I went and grew up. Don't you worry I plan on making up for it ten fold.
Peace...
