I posed the question to the Ryno...Inspired by the demise of my favorite show -- NBC's Ed --

"Much like my favorite TV shows, the good ones are the first to go, what are the Top 5 bands that shouldn't have broken up?"

1) Angry Salad - I've seen Angry Salad three times in college. Every time they got better. Last I heard part of the band re-grouped into a band now called, "Star 64" I've only heard one of their songs on the college radio station, but that was the last I heard of them.
Favorite Single: Rico

2) New Radicals - From what I understand this was an ugly breakup. They made an album, sold a few million of them, made one video and called it quits. The record label made them go back and film a video for their second single from the album.
Favorite Single: Someday We'll Know

3) Creed - Oh I thought this was a list of bands that should break up. Scott Stapp was a tool before I saw this, but his stint on Celebrity Poker on Bravo just proved how much of a moron this jack-wad is.
Favorite Single: Whatever one is their last.

4) The Police - While Sting did go on to have a career after the band, the other two fell off the planet. Sting did have a nugget or two of goodness after The Police, but I believe that his best work was with the boys.
Favorite Single: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic

5) The Flaming Hamsters - In 8th grade I played drums in a band. We lasted for about 2 weeks. We were all horrible, well I was better than horrible, but no where nears good. Someday I hope VH-1 shows up on my door to reunite the band. I'm not sure where they all are now. I do know our rhythm guitarist has recently gotten a part in a Kevin Bacon movie. No lie.
Favorite Single: Our cover of Marilyn Manson's cover of Sweet Dreams

The End.

Peace...
