I'm back.

After an impromptu road trip to see Wifey I am back in New Jersey.

Happy belated birthday to Valentina.

For Val's 21st a huge crew of QU'ers went to Toads place. This was the first time I was at Toads that Anthony wasn't on stage. Not my typical scene, but I made the best of it and I can't remember the last time I danced that much.

A HUUUUUUUGE thank you goes out to my Pete. Once again you were my knight in shining armor. Pete (my husband) drove Michele, Jen and I to Side Street for dinner. Although there was a $4.00 cover to see a really crappy band play, I had a good time. After dinner, Pete being the amazing soul that he is, drove Michele and I to Toads to join in the Birthday Bash.

Once we arrived I think I saw every person I've ever known that attended the Q. From the Gilldawg to Jess to Skuba to my old roomies. It was awesome. Plus to see the old crew, Labella, Michele and Val. I never thought I could miss people so much. I guess you can.

After a great night at Toads, the next morning I drove to Maine because I missed my Wifey. Saw her new house and met the new dog and some friends that I didn't meet the last time I was up there last summer.

I made the 6 hour drive back to New Jersey this morning. It began at 11AM in Lewiston, Maine... Paused for 10 minutes in Wallingford, CT at a rest stop on The Merritt... And ended at 5ish in Gillette, NJ.

Now my long day is over and I'm very tired and have a new book to read, Who Moved My Cheese? Thanks to Wifey.

Much love goes out to Michele and Sharon for housing me this fine weekend, to my hubby for carting my drunk ass around, to Val for being born, to Wifey just because...

Peace...
