Countdown to the Boss: 9 Days
Karma is a bitch. Now Im trying to figure out what I did to deserve the past few days....
***WARNING: This post is not for those with weak stomachs.***
Tuesday: worked at Ralph's Italian Ice with Amy. Eric stopped by, went out to say hello, got stung by a bee on the one finger necessary to scoop with. Cool. Worked from 4-10. my arm was about to fall off from all the scooping. I didnt even sleep through the night due the muscles spazing in my arm. around 5am i took the only drug I had, Tylenol PM.
Wednesday: Due to the Tylenol PM, Amy had a rough time waking me up. Had the most amazing pancakes at Sherbin's Diner in South Plainfield. We (Amy and I) picked up Eric and drove to Atlantic City. Met up with Mr. & Mrs. B, George, Annalise and Robert. Checked into the Tropicana, got ready for dinner. Had dinner in the casino, gambled a bit. We then went to see "V" the Variety show at the Tropicana. The 10 year-old winner of Star Search was the closing act. Holy Crap did she have a set of lungs on her! Gambled some more. Walked the boardwalk with Amy. Found Robert and Eric, went back to hotel room, had birthday cake, laughed A LOT, then went to sleep.
Thursday: Woke up to Robert and Eric having a lovers quarrel. Felt fine for a whopping 15 minutes then felt nautious. Cool. Got dressed, checked out, got in the car to meet Mr & Mrs B at Harrah's. Didn't quite make it. I proceeded to get sick 3 times in the car. Nice. I've never been more embarassed in my entire life. We pulled over to a McDonald's where we cleaned the car and myself. Mr. & Mr's B met us there, before we traveled home. I managed to hold it in for the 2 hour drive home, then got sick on Mr & Mrs. B's lawn. Mom and Dad picked me up took me home, took a much needed nap, had a handfull of cheerios and called it a night at 10:45.
Today: Today has been kind to me. I had a whole bowl of cheerios. WOO HOO! I even managed to loose seven pounds. Granted the last time I weighed myself was a week ago and I have been hitting up my gym. Either way I'm really friggin sore.
I am going to attempt to have pizza sans cheese for dinner. This is gunna suck.
On the plus side, I have a new book to read, : Speaking With The Angel by Nick Hornby (same guy that wrote High Fidelity)
Peace...
Current Music: Peter Frampton - Baby, I Love Your Way
