Countdown to the Boss: 15 Days
We only lost power for a grand total of 15 seconds. That in my opinion is cool, because I am a fan of electricty and the fact that it brings me air conditioning. Plus I'd hate to live as Chris currently is. He is in Detroit and has no power. And probaly wont get it back until Monday. He has a bathtub full of water for his eating/drinking purposes. HAHAHA. Who's the lucky one now bro?
On my way home from seeing Uptown Girls tonight with the fabulos Amy Thau, I was listening to a cd I had made for the car ride to the theater and back. Then I had an epiphany.
There are those songs that no matter how old they are, still rock. The louder they are the more they rock. Whether its the bass line or the beat or the amazing vocals, some songs are meant to be heard really loud. In honor of these rockin songs, I will make a list (a la Ryno). It shall be known as the "One Louder List".
Some examples would be, "Under Pressure" - David Bowie & Queen, "Take A Picture" - Filter, "If I Am" - Nine Days, "We're Having A Party" - Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, "Born to Run" - The Boss. Now there are many of you out there that either agree or disagree. Here's your chance. I am formally inviting you, the reader, to chime in with your suggestions for the One Louder List. Click on the comments link and leave a note there.
Ok Im dead tired. No idea why. I only got up a mear 13 hours ago.
