The other day I decided to purchase flowers for myself. This is not the first time I have done this, but for some reason these flowers seemed special. So I was talking to Julie about them and this is the conversation we had:
Julie: Why did you get the yellow roses with red tips?
Me: Cause it's my life in a nutshell. The yellow means friendship and red means love. Like every relationship I've had it starts out as friends, stays there for quite some time, grows into love, lasts for a millisecond, then dies.
Julie: That could possibly be the most amazing thing and the saddest thing all at once.
Me: Thanks.

It got me thinking. That is really sad. I am one pathetic loser! (points if you can guess what movie that's from)

Im getting over a bitch of a cold. I spent all day today in bed. I woke up (I say this as if I had slept through the night) at 8AM when the alarm went off only to find out that I have a fever. So around 5PM I motivate myself to take a shower. Then have a wonderful night on duty. I really couldn't afford to take today off and watch tv and nap, but I did it. and in the grand scheme of things, it wont matter that I went to class miserable and spread my germs to others, but that I took the time for me, and it was worth it.

The next 2 weeks are gunna suck long and hard:
10/24 - Psych test on stuff I have no idea about followed by Channel 8 until 12
10/25 - Channel 8 9:30-6:30 followed by duty from 7:45-3:00
10/26- Duty 7:45-3:00
10/29- Psych paper due/ duty 6:45-12:00
10/31- Duty 6:45-2:00
11/1 - Hall Director Conference at UConn (skipping a hockey game that I could get paid $50 to film) duty 7:45-3:00
11/2 - Duty 7:45-3:00

Once I make it through til then Ill be golden. I only hope I can do it all. This should be fun. I apologize in advance for the fact that I will be in hiberantion for the next 2 weeks getting my work done.

That is all that I have to discuss for now. It is quite late and I need sleep. not like I got 18 hours today.

Peace...

Current Music: John Mayer - Love Soon (off of the independant cd. IT ROCKS by the way)

P.S. I saw Our Lady Peace on Sunday night at the Webster Theater in Hartford. It was amazing. They talke the stage after The Juliana Theory and Raine says, "We have tomorrow off, so if you don't mind I think we'll play for 3 hours or so" No Raine I dont mind one bit. holy hell. The show was unreal. In my top 5 concerts it is number 3. For the curious ones...
1)Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden -If you heard Piano Man live you'd get the chills too
2) Dave Matthews Band at Madison Square Garden - upgraded tickets from section 415 to section 1 row 2. Yeah it was amazing.
3) Our Lady Peace at The Wenster in Hartford - Raine's voice is amazing.
4) Nine Days at the Birch Hill in Jersey - The pictures say it all.
5) Paula Abdul's Spellbound Tour with Color me Bad at what was then and always will be the Garden State Arts Center - It was my first concert.
