SHE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
That I am. I am back from trekking to Maine. I spent last Thursday at Bri's house. We went to the bar, and two beers and a red headed slut later, I had a memory with Bri that I will never forget. We talked about the future and what it entailed. What this year will be like at school. And the scariest of all, what happens after graduation. It was one of those good scary talks that you need once in awhile to keep you in check.
Friday I drove from Suffield, CT to Topsham, ME. I did it. I drove to Maine. It’s really beautiful up there. And holy cow when the sun goes down there is no light. I had a hard time sleeping in such darkness. Friday night was spent with Nicole and Ben at Nicole's Dad's house. After I made an illegal U-turn and got everyone's hearts pumping we finished a few beers and went to bed. The next day I got out of the shower to the one and only, Miss Amber-Dawn. Amber and her friend's Cory and Nicole picked me up and we went shopping in Freeport. It was cool, they have the only LLBean store on the planet, and to top it off it's open 24 hours. I purchased a shower tote thingy. I've noticed Amber and Nicole's for 2 years now and since I'm going back to the communal shower with 96 freshman girls, I figured that would be cool. I tried Lobster at Amber’s house. Key word is tried. If you want to impress me don’t take me out for a Lobster dinner. That night I went with Amber and her friends to a camp party. Now to all my friends here in the tri-state area, you may be thinking the same thing I did when you hear the word camp. You think day camp with counselors and the like. Well at least I did. I soon found out a camp is a house on a lake. Fun was had by all. Amber’s friend Nicole V. and Cory are so funny. Nicole and I got a long so well. I wish she went to QU. Proof that I was in Maine Amber's friends were awesome. I personally invited Paulie, BJ, Nicole, and Kim to come and visit. And I will consider it an insult if they don’t.
After a shower and some eats, I spent the rest of the weekend in Maine at Nicole's Mom's house. We went out to dinner at the Asian Grill. It was so good. I didn’t think Maine could be known for its Asian quisine. More so for it's Lobster. We had a good time. Monday was spent once again behind the wheel as I drove back to CT. I called RYNO and I met him at the station at school picked up a few CD’s. We high classed it up at Ray and Mike's for dinner. God I missed that place. After a wonderful meal, 6 CD’s and a complete regaling of his experience with the boss, I hit the road again. Made a quick pit stop at the Christmas Tree Shop, then Hit the Merrit and cruise on home over the Tappan Zee.
Tomorrow I venture to the DMV to obtain my new driver’s license, because I’m 21 now. I love that. And I talk to dawg tomorrow. She will have stories for me. I can’t wait!
Peace.
